The first lawsuit is over. Bob, Jennifer, and the others lost. The hospital system prevailed. David got punched by Goliath. Many of the terminated employees applied for unemployment benefits, including Bob. He was initially awarded the benefits but Houston Methodist appealed. Episode Three discusses Bob's unemployment appeal and the little known fact that he actually applied for a religious exemption. Shortly after, he receives an email that changes his course.
